Megan Ferrando
West Asia, conflict, water security and governance, humanitarian and development issues.
Megan Ferrando is a non-resident associate fellow at the Centre for European Reform and works in Damascus with an international humanitarian NGO. She has a background in international relations and EU external action, with a focus on West Asia, conflict, and water security and governance. Megan is also a researcher with the think-tank Climate & Water Initiative, and has previously lived in Lebanon and Jordan, where she worked on humanitarian and development issues.
Megan was the CER's Clara Marina O’Donnell Fellow in 2021-22, and has worked with several international NGOs in Brussels on the EU's foreign and security policy. She holds an MA in EU International Relations & Diplomacy from the College of Europe, a MSc in Conflict Resolution & Governance from the University of Amsterdam, and a BA in Liberal Arts & Sciences from the University of Maastricht.
